Aurélien Pradié, MP for Lot, was the guest of France 2’s “4 Vérités” on Thursday July 18.

Members of parliament will vote for the presidency of the National Assembly on Thursday, July 18. “The guiding principle in this great moment of turmoil is freedom.”assures Aurélien Pradié, deputy of Lot. According to him, the French “did not want to entrust power to anyone” following the legislative elections. “For ten days, we have been talking about everything, everyone, except France and the French. The real subject is how we rebuild this country and that is not going to be done by swapping positions.”he says.

Without a majority, with which group could Aurélien Pradié cohabit? “La France Insoumise and the Republican Left must separate (…) We must bring together around the table all those who have a Gaullist soul”he asks. “The only solution is sacred union to rebuild the country”believes the deputy of Lot. “We need to have a government to rebuild the country and then everyone can return to their electoral habits.”concludes Aurélien Pradié.
