For the thrill of summer, the 20 Heures heads to Nepal for a paragliding flight over the Himalayas. A breathtaking and absolutely unique experience.

With their colorful wings, paragliders have made the roof of the world their favorite playground. Suspended in the void, everyone comes to Nepal to seek the thrills of summer. In the center of the country, the city of Pokhara attracts many tourists. There, an Indian father came to treat himself to a dose of adrenaline. “I heard a lot about paragliding here, I came to fight my fear and exceed my limits”he confides.

The France Télévisions teams took part in this sublime exercise in the sky, alongside Trisha Shrestha, one of the first female paraglider pilots in Nepal. She is a pioneer, because out of the 400 paraglider pilots in Nepal, only 20 are women. During takeoff, you should definitely not try to sit down or jump, advises the specialist. Gradually moving away from the ground, fear remains on solid ground in the face of the beauty of the Nepalese panorama, at an altitude of 2,000 meters.
