(Longueuil) The Longueuil Agglomeration Police Service (SPAL) is investigating a suspicious death that occurred late Sunday evening in the borough of Saint-Hubert.
SPAL police officers were called to intervene at around 11 p.m. in a retirement home located on rue Langevin. When they arrived at the scene, they found an unconscious woman.
“Cardiopulmonary resuscitation maneuvers were undertaken. The woman was taken to a hospital, where she was unfortunately pronounced dead,” said a spokesperson for SPAL, Mélanie Mercille, on Monday, who specified that “the woman’s death is currently considered suspicious.”
An investigation was therefore launched.

“Investigators are meeting with a key witness. At this time, we are gathering testimony and evidence that could help establish the exact circumstances surrounding this death. We should be able to learn more in the coming hours.”
