In the North, the “Secret Nights” festival offered a mystery concert in swimsuits!

The new edition of this festival takes place in Aulnoye-Aymeries (Hauts-de-France) until Sunday evening with an eclectic and surprising musical program. Highly anticipated by festival-goers, the “secret tours”: mysterious concerts in unknown places. This time, the meeting was at the swimming pool!

Over the years, these “Secret Tours” have attracted more and more spectators. That day, Saturday July 12, the organization had arranged to meet festival-goers in front of the city hall. “We can’t wait to discover and be surprised by the artist and the concept, it’s the first time we’ve done a secret tour even though we’ve been coming to this festival for at least ten years,” confides a participant. “I think we’ll go to the swimming pool!” hopes a young girl.

Wish granted, guided by chaperones the happy group heads towards the city’s aquatic complex.

From the shower, the atmosphere is festive. Festival-goers in swimsuits enter the pool ready to start a “swim-dance” to electro music.

In the audience, a group of girls came to have fun with friends.It’s great, everyone’s having a blast, it’s original, we’ve never seen anything like it before!” one of them rejoices. “This is my first pool party and it’s perfect,” adds another young girl.

Heated to the max, some of them are providing entertainment. With sunglasses on his eyes, Maxime dances on the edge of the pool and leads the swimmers into the dance. “It’s funny to see everyone dancing in swimsuits, it looks like an aquagym class, it’s super original, honestly it’s so cool!” smiled the young man.

Also on the decks, DJ Marina Trench put on her swimsuit. A first for this producer who is more used to mixing at night.This environment surrounded by water is quite special, the acoustics are also special, and then all these people in the water jumping everywhere with all this energy, it’s really an adventure,” she rejoices.

For two days, from July 13 to 14, six “secret tours” are offered during the day and in the evening, for the modest sum of €10. Once seated on the bus, festival-goers head to unusual locations (barn, castle kitchen, chapel, factory, etc.) where intimate and unique concerts are promised.

In addition to this particularity, the Secret Nights festival offers an eclectic and enticing program, between electro, hip-hop, French song and reggae. Clara Ysé, Louise Attaque, Kiddy Smile, Blaize Fayah, Parcels and Tiakola are expected this Sunday, July 14.
