Who will replace Gabriel Attal as Prime Minister? On the left, the New Popular Front continues to look for its candidate but the matter drags on with a latent war, particularly between the socialists and the rebels.
Despite five days of discussions, members of the New Popular Front (NFP) have still not managed to agree on a name to propose to Emmanuel Macron for the post of Prime Minister. “What is blocking things are the two main political forces, the rebels and the socialists, each of whom is claiming the post of Prime Minister.”explained Fabien Roussel, national secretary of the Communist Party.
