(New York) The New York Stock Exchange opened higher on Friday, the day after a drop in technology stocks, supported by a new decline in bond rates as well as generally satisfactory bank results.
In early trading, the Dow Jones gained 0.19%, the NASDAQ index gained 0.26% and the broader S&P 500 index gained 0.20%.
