Located in the heart of the countryside, this family home has hosted more than a hundred film shoots. Marine Quéméré, singer-songwriter and performer, shows us around.
Marine Quéméré explains that her childhood bedroom underwent many changes over the course of filming. “This wallpaper was installed for a shoot, but I kept it.” During filming, the decorators modify the interior of the house. “Sometimes we agree on new paints, new wallpapers,” she says. “All of a sudden you have 70 people coming in and turning your house upside down.”
The young woman mentions a film, the story of which took place in Etretat and where “They used the cliffs surrounding the house to recreate a view of the sea.” This country house has thus temporarily been transformed into a seaside residence. “You see your house, which is in the middle of the countryside, suddenly with a view of the sea. It’s really dreamy.”she says.
The singer-songwriter recalls some memorable anecdotes, such as when actress Adèle Exarchopoulos smoked fake weed, requiring days of preparation to reconstitute cannabis plants in the home vegetable garden for a few minutes on screen. “That’s what excites me about this film preparation thing,” she jokes. Scenes with Pierre Richard picking mushrooms also remain etched in her teenage memories.
