Yet another feat for Yohan Durand. The Bergeracois exploded his personal 10 km best in Valencia, Spain this Sunday, January 9. The 36-year-old rider came first in France and 14th in the general classification, in 28 minutes and 19 seconds.
His last record dates from this summer, at the French 10-kilometer championships in Langueux, where he completed the race in 28 minutes and 32 seconds.
Yohan Durand therefore continues his momentum. Last October, he had finished first Frenchman in the Paris marathon, in 2 hours, 9 minutes and 21 seconds.
Yohan Durand is not going to return to France right away. He will leave Valencia and join Portugal, for an internship with the federation. His next goal: to improve his half-marathon time.
