(Saint-Gabriel-De-Valcartier) A 19-year-old man is in critical condition after a collision with a tree in Saint-Gabriel-de-Valcartier, in the National Capital Region, Sunday morning.
The collision occurred around 5:30 a.m. Sunday, on Valcartier Boulevard.
According to information from the Sûreté du Québec (SQ), the driver was travelling north and left the road on a curve before crashing into a tree.
The 19-year-old was the only person in the vehicle and was taken to hospital in critical condition. His life is feared.
A patrol officer trained in collision investigation went to the scene of the accident on Sunday to analyze the scene and try to understand the causes and circumstances surrounding this event, said officer Ève Brochu-Joubert, spokesperson for the SQ.
