Father throws two children out of window before killing himself in Paris

On Saturday, July 6, a father threw his two children out of a window before jumping from the fifth floor of a building in the 14th arrondissement of Paris, France Bleu Paris learned from a police source on Sunday morning. The man died, the two children, aged 2 and 5, are hospitalized in an emergency. Their vital prognosis is still engaged.

The events occurred on Saturday evening, around 8:30 p.m., after a dispute between the couple. According to initial testimonies collected as part of the investigation, an argument broke out between the parents. The father, who is deceased, was known for acts of violence dating back to 2007 and which resulted in more than 8 days of total incapacity for work (ITT).

The mother was taken to hospital under police guard. A medical-psychological unit was set up for three minors who witnessed the events.
