Saint-Hyacinthe | A man dies in a work accident at ADM Animal Nutrition

(Saint-Hyacinthe) A 46-year-old man lost his life Friday in a work accident that occurred at ADM Animal Nutrition, in Saint-Hyacinthe, in Montérégie.


According to Ève Brochu-Joubert, spokesperson for the Sûreté du Québec, emergency services were called Thursday morning, around 9:30 a.m., after the worker found himself stuck between a tractor-trailer and the receiving dock.

The victim was taken to a hospital, where he eventually died on Friday.

An investigation has been opened to determine the causes and circumstances of this accident. Labour Canada is responsible for investigating, with the collaboration of the SQ’s Judicial Identification Service.
