The seventeenth edition of Hellfest, the largest extreme music festival in France, ended on Sunday, June 30, 2024 after four days of music and partying in Clisson (Loire-Atlantique). Two hundred and forty thousand metal fans vibrated to the sound of more than 260 bands, including Metallica, Megadeth, Foo Fighters, Mass Hysteria, Dropkick Murphys and The Offspring.
Like every year, the spectacle was also on the side of the festival-goers, who demonstrated a delightful unbridled madness in the outfits.

Half-woman, half-scorpion, the Guardian of Darkness was the big novelty of Hellfest 2024. Created by the company La Machine, this articulated sculpture of wood and metal took two years of work. Every evening, from 10 p.m. to midnight, this incredible Cerberus between two worlds came to life. (SEBASTIEN SALOM-GOMIS / AFP)
