Despite the will and financial assistance of Quebec, the renewable natural gas (RNG) sector produced from agricultural residues is struggling to get off the ground. The completion of projects is stretching beyond the schedule while the Danish biomethanization giant Nature Energy no longer intends to build “at all costs” 10 mega-factories to supply Énergir.
