(Brossard) A fatal accident reportedly occurred on Boulevard du Quartier at the intersection of Rue de Lancaster, in Brossard, in Montérégie.
The Longueuil Agglomeration Police Service (SPAL) indicated that one person is believed to have died.
It is not yet known what time the accident occurred, the age of the victim or the causes and circumstances of the incident.
SPAL spokesperson Mélanie Mercille said more details would be available during the day.
