An armed suspect who was driving in Natashquan was arrested Wednesday around 8:45 p.m., announced the Sûreté du Québec (SQ).
“The investigation is continuing and the suspect will be met by investigators,” announced the SQ on X.
The suspect had been spotted in the area of Route 138, which is now secure, according to the SQ, who had asked people who were in this area of the Côte-Nord village to stay safe during the operation policewoman. The man was traveling on foot.
