the Tours film festival returns for its 29th edition

More motivated than ever, the Cinémas Studio, in conjunction with the associative, institutional and cultural actors of Touraine, have prepared around thirty events on the occasion of the 29th edition of the Désir … Désirs festival.

For this new edition which takes place from January 19 to 25, 2022 (for film week), the monsters are coming out of the closet. The festival thus offers the public the opportunity to travel through “Genre Cinema”, through the divinely awful focus: “Freaks”.

Note this year, the presence of Sohan Pague, from the SKAM FRANCE series, on January 19 at 7:30 p.m. Sohan Pague is one of the new faces of the France TV series that appeared in the 6th season. It is in the 7th season that his character of Max will take on a leading importance, a trans role far from the usual clichés of French television. He offers a representation that is still too rare in the media: that of a young trans man who is not entirely defined by his transidentity. A boy whose transition is complete, and good about himself.

The actor Sohan Pague who plays Max in the Skam France series will be at Cinemas Studio in Tours on January 19th.
Festival Desire … Desires

Finally, Maria de Medeiros will also be one of the 14 guests of the festival. She presents her film, _To our children_, in preview, the Friday January 21 at 7 p.m. at Studio Cinemas.
