End of disruptions. The A13 motorway between Vaucresson and Paris fully reopens on Monday June 24, 2024 in both directions of traffic. The province-Paris direction had already first reopened on Thursday, the Hauts-de-Seine prefecture announced. The Paris-province direction was still not accessible to motorists since the closure of the motorway segment on April 19 after the discovery of a “transverse crack due to ground movement”. Traffic will return to normal “at the end of the day”.
Work had been undertaken and a partial reopening was recorded on May 10 for light vehicles on one lane in the province-Paris direction. Since then, the Hauts-de-Seine departmental council has initiated “repair work on the cracked pipe”while a company carried out backfilling work to “stabilize the retaining wall of the axis”detailed the prefecture in a press release.
The Ile-de-France Roads Department also finalized last week “the road renovation work necessary for the resumption of traffic from Paris to the province”still according to this press release.
