After winning its first two matches of a Euro played at home, Germany will face Switzerland on Sunday June 23, in search of a third success synonymous with first place in group A. The Helvetians only need just one point to ensure qualification for the round of 16, regardless of Scotland’s result.
The meeting promises to be prolific. In Frankfurt, the Nationalelf will be keen to continue their series of goals, 7-1 cumulative scores in two matches against Scotland and Hungary. There have even been at least four goals in four of the last five clashes between the two nations (two victories, two draws and one defeat for Germany).
