The day before, 22 people were killed in an attack near the office of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC). The organization denounced this attack on the social network X: “The strike damaged the structure of the ICRC office, which is surrounded by hundreds of displaced civilians in tents.” Josep Borrell, the head of European diplomacy, condemned this attack and called for an independent investigation.
