one million proxies have already been registered

Long lines in front of police stations, almost everywhere in France: the scenes have become frequent since the announcement of the early legislative elections on June 9. In ten days, more than a million proxy requests were registered, or six times more than in the 2022 legislative elections. The explosion in proxy requests suggests an increase in participation on D-day. It could reach 63%, according to an Ifop survey published on Sunday.
