What to watch for on Friday June 21, 2024?

National Indigenous Peoples Day is being celebrated across the country today. Every year, June 21 is an opportunity to highlight the cultural diversity and heritage of Canada’s indigenous communities.

For the occasion, Radio-Canada, Télé-Québec and APTN are once again presenting this year The great solstice, a show that highlights indigenous musical culture. In Ottawa, Governor General Mary Simon will participate today in the inauguration of the Garden of Hearts, a place dedicated to commemorating child victims of residential schools.
