Despite opening the score early, the English failed to win against the dominant Danes on Thursday.

A favorite’s suit too big for England? After two matches in this Euro 2024, the English are currently far from the level at which they were announced at the start of the competition. Already held in check when they entered the competition by Slovenia (1-1), Denmark continues to advance slowly in this group C, with two points in as many matches, before playing its qualification against Serbia, Tuesday. First in the group with four points, England will have to confirm their first place against the surprising Slovenes, who came very close to victory against Serbia (1-1), earlier in the afternoon.
