Why do you have wrinkled fingers when you spend a certain amount of time in your bath?

Is it due to the penetration of water into the epidermis at our extremities? No. Biologists have ended up identifying the cause of the phenomenon: everything is played out at the level of our nervous system.

When our body detects that our mimines have been in the water for a while, a nervous command reduces the volume of the blood vessels. Consequently, the volume of the fingers decreases, while the skin retains its size! Result: it crumbles.
