Jocelyn Prêcheur will no longer be the coach of the women’s section of PSG next season, according to information Monday June 17 from France Bleu Paris from corroborating sources. Both parties decided not to continue the adventure. Paris is already in contact with several coaches.

It’s a real surprise, reports France Bleu, as PSG wanted to extend Jocelyn Prêcheur in order to maintain a certain stability in its project. But according to several corroborating sources, it is now confirmed, PSG and the 42-year-old coach are stopping their collaboration. The negotiations that began two months ago have been stopped and everyone will take different routes.

According to information from France Bleu Paris, despite the hard blow of seeing the man who took the PSG women to the semi-final of the Champions League leave this season, the Parisian club is already in contact with three coaches. All have a profile with experience in women’s football. Still according to a person close to the matter, in order to maintain a certain continuity and to reassure the locker room, the new coach should be announced in the coming days.

For her part, at the end of her contract on June 30, Jocelyn Prêcheur, who replaced her father in September 2023 at the head of PSG, is likely to soon return to the galaxy of clubs of Michèle Kang, owner of OL women, but also London City Lionesses (ANG). In 10 months, Jocelyn Prêcheur won the French Cup, became vice-champion of France in D1 and semi-finalist in the Champions League with PSG.
