The schools of the Poitiers academy are not spared by the wave of Covid-19 contamination. This Friday, January 7, she specifies in a press release that 188 classes over 130,000 (primary schools, colleges and high schools combined) have been closed because of too many infected students. In contrast, no school was forced to close its doors completely this week.
In four days, from Monday to Thursday noon, 734 covid case have been raised among students and 31 among staff of national education. the director of departmental services for national education de la Vienne indicated this Friday morning on France Bleu Poitou that there are nearly 400 cases in the department.
The health protocol in schools was also updated and lightened this Friday.
