(Ottawa) The Ottawa Senators have signed forward Cole Reinhardt to a one-year, two-way contract extension.
The team management made the announcement in a press release Friday afternoon.
The deal is worth US$775,000 if Reinhardt plays in the National Hockey League, and $95,000 if he plays in the American Hockey League.
Originally from Calgary and aged 24, Reinhardt scored 23 points, including eight goals, and amassed 76 penalty minutes in 56 regular season games with the Belleville Senators, the Senators’ AHL farm club, in 2023- 24.
He also scored a goal while appearing in all seven games for the Senators during the American League playoffs.
Reinhardt was a sixth round pick of the Senators, 181e overall, in the 2020 draft.
He made his only appearance in the NHL on April 7, 2022, in Ottawa, against the Nashville Predators.
