FC Annecy has succeeded in its recovery. For its first outing in 2022, the Haut-Savoyard club went for a tenth victory in this National championship. Friday evening, in front of its public (1737 spectators) of the sports park and on a lawn that first had to be cleared of snow (the kickoff was given thirty minutes late), the Fécé won his duel against a direct competitor on the podium. Laurent Guyot’s players dominated Football Bourg-en-Bresse Péronnas by the score of 2 to 0.
Double for Bosetti
The first goal of the game was scored in the 36th minute by Alexy Bosetti. The Red striker was only pleased to push the ball into the empty goal after Godson Kyeremeh, untenable on his right side, made the defenders of Ain dizzy. Just before the break, Bourg Péronnas was reduced to ten following a huge fault by Ribelin on Bastian. In the second half, Fécé and Bosetti, again, doubled the lead in the 70th minute. A double celebrated with a dive into a pile of snow amassed behind the cages of the Bourg goalkeeper.
With this first success of the year 2022, FC Annecy ends the first leg of this championship with a record of 10 wins, 4 draws and 2 defeats. The Reds remain undefeated this season on their lawn at the sports park and temporarily rise to 2nd place in the standings.
