Pharmacists and social security have reached an agreement for an increase in fees. Here are the changes that will follow after this evolution
In the event of angina or urinary infection, it will no longer be necessary to go to the doctor. Pharmacists will soon be able to carry out a test to prescribe antibiotics to patients without a prescription. They will receive between 10 and 15 euros per test.
Pharmacists will also have the opportunity to vaccinate more, advise patients treated with opioids and offer a wider range of medications for sale. These changes should allow pharmacists to receive better remuneration in a context of crisis. The pharmacies in greatest difficulty could benefit from subsidies of up to twenty thousand euros.
