During the 2024 European election campaign, the speaking time granted to political groups on the antennas of seventeen television channels and ten radio stations was regulated in the name of guaranteeing political pluralism during the period from Monday April 15 to Friday June 7 at midnight.

A party’s speaking time is counted when its head of the list speaks, but also if it is one of its supporters. For these European elections, the Audiovisual Communication Regulatory Authority (Arcom) has recommended respect for the rule of fairness between the lists and relies for this on the results of the last European elections, on polls of opinion and the ability to lead the campaign (public meetings, travel, presence on social networks, etc.).

Here is the census of speaking times on the France Télévisions antennas as transmitted to Arcom:

On France 2

On France 3 (national)

On France 5

On franceinfo (channel 27)
