In the polling stations of Marseille (Bouches-du-Rhône), Paris or Strasbourg (Bas-Rhin), some voters went to vote on the morning of Sunday June 9. The lists for the European elections are numerous and several voters say they hesitated until the end.
Students from Marseille (Bouches-du-Rhône) were keen to vote in the European elections on the morning of Sunday June 9. “For me, it’s quite important to get involved and come and vote. It’s a way of showing what we think“, explains a young woman. In a polling station near Canebière, the crowd grew at the end of the morning. In Paris, some preferred to get up early and vote as soon as it opened. “I have two children, my wife is still sleeping, so I did this to go faster and for things to go well today“, says a man.
One woman, for her part, preferred to arrive early to be able to make her choice at the last minute. A voter from Strasbourg (Bas-Rhin) tells the same story. “I had doubts until the last moment, but I believe my choice is made“, he smiles. Some had difficulty choosing from the 38 lists proposed. “I try to accumulate, to vote useful and according to my convictions“, confides a woman. Several heads of the list have already voted this morning.
