Nathalie Cohen-Beizermann, vice-president of CRIF, reacts to the release of four Israeli hostages on Saturday June 8.

Nathalie Cohen-Beizermann, vice-president of CRIF, says she has “really felt a lot of joy” upon the announcement of the release, on the afternoon of Saturday June 8, of four Israeli hostages. “It’s true that for several months, we haven’t talked about the hostages at all, they are really people who were forgotten”she deplores, recalling that the CRIF “organizes a rally every week to call” upon their release.

While three hostages, including a Franco-Israeli man, were found lifeless “about ten days ago”Nathalie Cohen-Beizermann is delighted that this time the hostages are “living”. While among them is Noa Argamani, the vice-president of CRIF says on the other hand that she “still a lot of concern for the 13 other young women who are still in the hands of Hamas”.

As for the families of the hostages who are putting pressure on Benyamin Netanyahu to obtain a ceasefire and their release, Nathalie Cohen-Beizermann argues for her part that “all Israelis agree on the eradication of Hamas”.
