The Frenchman won his first Grand Slam in mixed doubles, alongside the German, on Thursday. They won in two sets (6-4, 7-5).
Edouard Roger-Vasselin and Laura Siegemund won the mixed doubles final, on the Philippe-Chatrier court, Thursday June 6. The Franco-German pair disposed of the American Desirae Krawczyk and Briton Neal Skupski in two sets (6-4, 7-5). With this trophy, the Frenchman won his first Grand Slam in mixed doubles.
Already winner of the French Open in men’s doubles with his compatriot Julien Benneteau in 2014, Edouard Roger-Vasselin adds a title to his list of achievements. Retired from singles, the 40-year-old has now devoted himself to doubles since 2016.
