Alongside the list of Marie Toussaint candidate for the European elections, several other lists which claim to be environmentalists are presenting themselves.
It’s a list that aims to be ecological. “We have chosen to upload our ballots to our website,” announces Patrice Grudé, head of the French Democratic Freedom list in the European elections, in his campaign clip.
The Peace and Degrowth list, in favor of ecology, has not joined forces with Europe Écologie-Les Verts. François Verret, member of the list, points out “strong divergences” with the list of Marie Toussaint: “They are not clearly anti-nuclear, and they are clearly not anti-growth”, he specifies. The Citizen Hive tried to unite environmentalists, without success. The European elections are a key vote for green parties. Historically, the Greens have obtained their best results there.
