The eighth and final stage of the Critérium du Dauphiné 2022 takes place in Savoie and Haute-Savoie, between Saint-Alban-Leysse and the Solaison plateau, a mountainous course of 139.2 km. This last stage with a steep profile promises possible twists in the classification. In 2017, it was already on the Solaison plateau that the 69th edition ended and it was the Dane, Jakob Fuglsang, who won with panache under the beard of the favorite at the time, Richie Porte. The departure will be given at 12:50 p.m. The arrival is estimated between 4:40 p.m. and 5:10 p.m. depending on the race pace of the runners. This final event, two and a half weeks before the start of the Tour de France, often sets the tone and the challenges to watch on the big loop.
