The magazine “8:30 p.m. on Saturday“(Twitter), presented live by Laurent Delahousse just after the 20 hours news on France 2, tells about an unprecedented moment in the life of a personality, behind the scenes of an event or a place belonging to the collective history. Reports that reveal “the little story in the big one”, to leaf through like a family album. This new issue of season 4 of “8:30 p.m. on Saturday” tells the incredible story of the meeting between Barbara and Jacques Mesrine, public enemy number 1 …
The day that> Jacques Mesrine and Barbara meet
At the end of the 1960s, Barbara was an artist at the top, after fifteen years of uncertain tomorrow. She is acclaimed at each concert by an ever-increasing audience… but you don’t always choose your admirers. In 1970, she toured Montreal, Quebec, and a funny figure with a red wig crept into the room. It is Jacques Mesrine, the future public enemy number 1, already on the run at the time. He wants to meet the artist at all costs… and he will succeed. Ua little-known story, that of a rather bulky fan with Barbara.
Bonus> Barbara and Julien Clerc
There are encounters that artists prefer to avoid… and those that are on the contrary a revelation. Barbara spotted Julien Clerc from the start and believed in him. They will also sing their respective titles together.
