[RECTIFICATIF.
He made this statement during an international forum in Tbilisi (Georgia), Thursday October 26, almost a month after Baku’s victory against the Armenian separatists of Nagorno-Karabakh.
In an already tense context, the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defense announced on Monday the start of military maneuvers with Turkey near Armenia. These exercises, according to this source, are organized in the Azerbaijani enclave of Nakhchivan, bordering Armenia and Iran, as well as in “liberated territories”, whose location has not been specified and which could designate Nagorno-Karabakh or adjoining Azerbaijani districts. These maneuvers, confirmed by Turkey, mobilize up to 3,000 soldiers from the two countries, dozens of armored vehicles, artillery and around twenty aircraft.
