What happened in the primary school of Fère-Champenoise (Marne)? Since last Thursday, dozens of students have been mysteriously poisoned. The firefighters are leading the investigation, after around fifteen new cases on June 3 in the small town.

Firefighters specializing in chemical and technological risks continued to analyze the atmosphere on Tuesday June 4. Their objective: to identify pollutants around the Fère-Champenoise primary school, in the Marne. The day before, on June 3, nineteen children and one adult fell ill again. The symptoms are still the same: vomiting, nausea, itching. The mother of a six-year-old girl was immediately notified: “They called me to tell me she had been poisoned”she explains about her daughter, placed on oxygen.

The first discomfort appeared last Thursday. Twenty-one primary school students and one adult had to be rescued. Same scenario the next day, when around twenty children presented the same problems. Last week, the symptoms appeared on the children’s journey from primary school to the canteen. The school was immediately closed. Monday, they appeared on the way between the school and the canteen. Research is therefore focused on this area.
