77th Cannes Film Festival | A film with Charlotte Le Bon in Cannes

The film Niki, in which the actress Charlotte Le Bon plays the artist Niki de Saint Phalle, will be presented in Cannes. It was selected in the series Un certain regard.




The selection of the film recounting the life of the French artist directed by Céline Sallette was announced Tuesday by the Cannes Film Festival. This is the director’s first feature film.

Niki de Saint Phalle is a visual artist and painter born in Neuilly-sur-Scène and died in California in 2002. She is known, among other things, for her performance paintings Shots and his Babesmonumental sculptures representing women with voluptuous shapes.

If Charlotte Le Bon, who will appear in the third season of the series White Lotusshot in Thailand, accompanies the film to Cannes, it will be its third presentation in as many years on the Croisette.

She presented her film there Falcon Lake in 2022 and was part of a jury in 2023. The Cannes Film Festival is being held this year from May 14 to 25.
