From September 9 to 18, 2022, an anniversary edition of the international music festival awaits you in Besançon!
After 2 years so special for the world, the International Music Festival finds its usual colors: big bosses, soloistsand renowned sets are invited to Besançon and the region.
Several European orchestras will be present, coming this year from Swiss, Germany, Belgium and Czech Republic. The forays into baroque and vocal music will be particularly striking, and that the today’s music will find a new echo with the universe ofAlexandros Markeas, composer in residence. Finally world music and jazz keep their place won for already twenty years.
As a sign of its willingness to be open, the Festival will begin with 24 hours of free concerts !
2022 HIGHLIGHTS
– A voice journey : the voice will be honoured, with no less than four concerts on the program for this edition;
– A symphonic journey : this anniversary edition will see the return of the major international symphonic ensembles, which have not been present for the past two years due to the health crisis;
