70th Sarlat Theater Games Festival from July 18 to August 3

It is one of the very important theater festivals in France with that of Avignon which is taking place at the moment. the theater games festival is back from Monday July 18 for a 70th edition and to celebrate its 70th anniversary, since an edition was canceled during the Covid crisis.

Like every year, the actor and director Jean-Paul Tribout signs the programming. Theater plays to discover outside in three Sarladais places: the place of freedom, the abbey of Sainte-Claire, and the garden of the Enfeus. It is in this last place that the opening piece, “La Honte” by François Hien will take place, staged by Jean-Christophe Blondel. A play on male-female relations. Many registers will be offered to the public, a humorous piece “Why old people, who have nothing to do, do they cross at a red light”, musical pieces like “La crème de Normandie”, or the show “Comédien!” at the end of the festival.
