7 years after his departure, here is what he formally forbade them!

Monday January 16, 2023, in Lyon, Les Enfoirés completed their six exceptional performances for the benefit of the Restos du Coeur at the Halle Tony Garnier. Among all the artists present, 50 in total, we notably met Patrick Bruel, Garou, Lorie Pester, Jenifer Bartoli, Nolwenn Leroy, Patrick Fiori, or even Mimie Mathy, while Elie Semoun made his big comeback.

“Jean-Jacques left us a deposit”

To all these Enfoirés, Anne Marcassus, the artistic director of the show (and close friend of Laeticia Hallyday) recalled the instructions given by Jean-Jacques Goldman. In the columns of Star TV, to be published on January 23, it reveals: “Jean-Jacques left us an instruction (he left in 2016, editor’s note), it is that it must remain a family show. We cannot afford things that are too raw”.

Other modifications are fortunately still possible to make the show more current. Regarding this aspect, the head of the troop assures: “We changed the stage design to be even closer to the audience. It was important for the artists to find this contact“. And for good reason, after two years without an audience, due to the Covid instructions, it is the first edition of Les Enfoirés which resumes with spectators. In total, this year, 40,000 people attended this show, guaranteeing even more resources for the charity created by Coluche.

We wanted to give people hope

The closeness with the fans is not the only update that Anne Marcassus allowed herself. The latter indeed explains that the first song sung by the Enfoirés during the show – traditionally melancholic – will give way to a more playful piece. “We wanted to give people hope“, she says.
