7 million years ago, our great uncle Toumaï was indeed bipedal

A research team, involving researchers from the CNRS, the University of Poitiers1 and their Chadian partners, published in the magazine “Nature” on August 24, 2022 the study of three bones from Toumaï, including the famous “hidden” femur . The conclusion is that Toumaï was indeed a bipedal hominid.
