Around 6,000 people are present this Wednesday, November 22 in Romans-sur-Isère (Drôme) at the white march to pay tribute to young Thomas, killed last weekend, reports France Bleu Drôme-Ardèche. The white march left at 1:30 p.m. from the Dauphiné high school, where Thomas was enrolled in his final year.
The large crowd held up signs like “Thomas we love you“, or “Thomas forever in our hearts“. Some people present in the procession wear the jersey of the Rugby Club Romanais Péageois (RCRP) of Thomas, of which he was the captain of the under-16s. The march will connect the establishment to the Donnadieu stadium in Romans-sur-Isère, where the victim was training rugby.
Thomas, 16, was killed during the night from Saturday to Sunday in Crépol, in the north of the department, stabbed to death after leaving a village ball. In this case, nine people were arrested: seven south of Toulouse, including the main suspect, and two in Romans-sur-Isère.
