At least 600 tenant households in Quebec have failed to sign a new lease as of July 1.

A problem that is found in all regions of Quebec.

“The hundreds of tenant households who are still homeless and all those who will be added in the days and weeks to come are indicative of a much deeper crisis”, denounces the spokesperson for the Popular Action Front in urban redevelopment (FRAPRU).

According to the organization, 118 families in Montreal and 55 in Quebec are still looking for a roof.
