It’s a miracle in Herat (Afghanistan). A little girl was completely buried underground. The rescuers managed to locate her, and pulled her, weakened but alive, from the rubble. Outside, residents are working to find survivors. The buildings were completely destroyed. The earthquake reduced them to piles of stones. “I was taking my daughter to the hospital, and I had planned to bring her back to her mother. As I was about to leave, there was a loud noise, which left no time to react. From the first shock, all the houses collapsed.”says a man.
