A game under high security. The Stade de France was adorned, Saturday, April 29, with yellow and purple, colors of Nantes and Toulouse, opposed in the final of the Coupe de France. On this occasion, and due to the mobilization of opponents of the pension reform, some 3,000 police and gendarmes were present on Saturday evening near the Ile-de-France enclosure. As part of this security system put in place for this final, 55 people were arrested for thefts and violence, on the sidelines of the meeting, France Télévisions learned from a police source on Sunday.
In the sports arena, the final of the Coupe de France took place in peace. Few spectators waved a red card in the 49th minute of the match, in reference to the use of 49.3 to push through the pension reform. These boxes had either been brought by the supporters themselves, or distributed by the unions at the entrance to the stadium, while the union rally had been authorized at the last minute by the administrative justice.
