If the comments may have shocked Internet users, the Regulatory Authority for Audiovisual and Digital Communication (Arcom) clearly did not accept the criticism of Joy Hallyday neither. Indeed, on January 30, 2023, Cyril Hanouna
and its teams TPMP wanted to debate about videos posted by the daughter of Laeticia Hallyday and Johnny Hallyday on her social networks. During the debate, Kelly Vedovelli would have slipped regarding the young girl then aged 14 years old according to Arcom.
In fact, the authority denounces in the Official newspaper : “Several videos of the young girl were broadcast in close-up and for a significant length of time, and one of the show’s reviewers notably declared about her: ‘For me, it’s the height of vulgarity. So for me, it’s super vulgar, with her tongue, her mouth, her tits'”. Arcom continues in its decision: “His behavior on the video is described in these terms: ‘Because it’s the new generation, do we have the right to be te-pu?'”. The body qualifies the remarks as Kelly Vedovelli
as “particularly violent, crude and derogatory”. Furthermore, still according to the authority, the sequence is “likely to undermine the rights of the young girl, respect for her honor and her reputation”.

CNews condemned like C8
Arcom also criticizes Cyril Hanouna for having refrained from condemning “explicitly the words” held in his show although he nevertheless declared: “I think you’re going a little far. We remind you that (she) is a minor so take it easy, eh anyway”. A request deemed not firm enough by the Regulatory Authority for Audiovisual and Digital Communication.
In fact, the chain C8 was fined 50,000 euros. The same amount was imposed on CNews for a sequence dating from September 2022 when the subject of insecurity was raised. The authority noted a breach of obligations “honesty and rigor in the presentation and processing of information, as well as the obligation to express different points of view on controversial issues”.
