500 Grenoble supporters will be able to come (by bus only) to the Geoffroy-Guichard stadium on Saturday October 1 for the match of the 10th day of Ligue 2 against the Greens, announces the Isère club in a press release. Their arrival is governed by an order from the Loire prefecture for this match which will be the first open to the public in the Cauldron since the start of the season.
ASSE will indeed have purged the matches behind closed doors imposed by the LFP after the excesses during the play-off against Auxerre at the end of last season. The departmental director of public security in the Loire indicated on Wednesday that the security device for this highly anticipated match, due to the return of the public to the Geoffroy-Guichard stadium, should indeed be clarified during the day. “The next game will be important because the public is coming back – except on the Snella stand – and it will be an equally important game for law enforcement”commented Cédric Esson.
