Motorists were stranded for nearly 45 minutes, Monday at noon, after a collision between two heavy vehicles on route 175 near Chicoutimi, in Saguenay – Lac-Saint-Jean.
The accident took place shortly before 11:45 a.m. at kilometer 165 of the southbound road, said Sûreté du Québec (SQ) spokesperson Hugues Beaulieu.
One of the drivers was taken to a hospital with minor injuries.
Every other lane was open at around 1:00 p.m. to allow a return to normal traffic.
