415 classes closed in the Nancy-Metz academy

415 classes are closed this weekend at the Nancy-Metz Academy. While at the national level the number of closures is at its highest since the spring of 2020, an overview of our academy.

In Lorraine, seven schools have completely closed their doors because of the epidemic, and in total the closures represent 2.3% of the classes.

The health protocol was lightened this week, without calming the anger of the teachers. Contact cases in the classrooms can now simply do self-tests, which are less restrictive than PCR or antigens.

According to these latest figures, 3.19% of academy students are positive for coronavirus, which represents 12,434 children or adolescents. For their part, the staff have accumulated 567 contaminations, including 112 over the last 48 hours.

It is the Moselle which is the most affected, with 217 classes closed, ahead of the Meurthe et Moselle (172 classes closed). The Vosges seem more spared, with 23 classes closed, and in the Meuse, only two classes are affected by closures.
